fifth ODI: India post 269 keeps running for the loss of 6 wickets


Visakhapatnam, Oct 29: Half-hundreds of years by Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma helped India post a sum of 269/6 in the fifth and last One-Day International (ODI) against New Zealand here on Saturday.

Both Kohli and Rohit were set for moderate begins before going for the hotshots once they got their eye in.

Kohli scored 65 keeps running off 76 conveyances with two limits and a six while Rohit crushed five limits and three hits into the stands on his way to a 65-ball 70.

Leg-spinner Inderbir Singh Sodhi and pacer Trent Boult stowed two or three wickets each for New Zealand. James Neesham and Mitchell Santner asserted a wicket each.

The five-coordinate arrangement is as of now bolted at 2-2 with both India and New Zealand winning two ODIs each.
