A man was captured here on Friday for running a fake designing school for a long time and bamboozling various understudies by gathering charges from them and not granting testaments to them.
The charged, Jagbeer Singh (38), who called himself executive of the purported school, neither stayed faithful to his commitment of granting them degrees from various known colleges with which his organization was as far as anyone knows subsidiary to, nor offered them the guaranteed arrangements. He was captured from VVIP private society, Raj Nagar Extension.
Jagbeer Singh, who opened Balaji Institute of Technical Studies (BITS) in Sector 12, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad, in 2010, used to concede understudies to confirmation courses in mechanical, electrical and structural building with the guarantee of granting them degrees from Shobhit University in Meerut, Sainath University in Ranchi and Manavbharti University in Himachal Pradesh.
Be that as it may, in all actuality, the establishment was unlawful and not partnered to any of the previously mentioned colleges. Singh disappeared on July 4.
The blamed used to charge understudies Rs 26,000 to Rs 35,000 every year and, throughout the years, has conned numerous understudies, whose number couldn’t be found out. Almost 40 understudies are as of now selected in three courses.
Subhajit Santra, from West Bengal said he had finished his third year of the structural designing recognition course in June yet was yet to get his mark sheets.
“When I took confirmation in a three-year structural building course, I was guaranteed a degree from Shobhit University Meerut. Be that as it may, when I requested my mark sheets, I was told I would get them from Sainath University in Ranchi, yet I didn’t get any mark sheet,” he said.
The main FIR against the blamed was documented on March 5, 2016, at Vijaynagar police headquarters over misrepresentation and the denounced was captured.
In any case, he was let off on the condition that he would mastermind every one of the authentications and mark sheets in two months. He didn’t.
