Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is considering renaming a segment of the Metro stations along the 29.7-km Noida-Greater Noida Metro entry. As demonstrated by powers, the rechristening recommendation comes after the Metro association found that a segment of the station names don’t reflect the zone where they are found. Since this is likely going to dumbfound specialists when the line is operational, no under eight stations along the line could be renamed.
As demonstrated by NMRC powers, a leading group of trustees has been set up to survey the necessity for renaming the stations. “The leading group of trustees headed by our official boss, Ghanshyam Singh, has been constituted to lead a point by point examination of the track and name the stations, which ought to be rechristened,” Santosh Yadav, NMRC directing official, told TOI. “When we have the report from the leading group of trustees, we will take after its proposition and complete the framework for renaming the stations,” he said.
